Better still, create a separate mount point for DOS floppies like '/mnt/a'
and create a new entry for it in fstab with the fstype as 'vfat'.
There are a lot of FAT-specific options that need to be set up in fstab.
Try a man on mount and go to the fs-specific options section. This also
applies to the entries for your Windoze partitions mounted in linux.
