The problem is that the idea came up very late and there is no more time in
the college schedule to fit in all these things. Also, she is very wary
about giving too many lab resources after a recent spurt of technical
festivals/events for quite a few weeks!
But we just *have* to do atleast a one-day seminar on the 16th since
everybody is interested in it ever since the idea came up. We are looking
at a series of introductory lectures and a few demos, basically aimed at
the uninitiated ... And I think some people from the LUG *must* be present
to lend some credibility. It will also be very helpful in properly
advocating the cause of GNU/Linux and also the ILUG-Bom as a part of a much
larger community.
Note that the HoD has promised complete assisstance if we arrange a
full-fledged workshop in the next semester.

Will do. That will be a big boost for the poor old neglected Linux box
sitting in some remote corner.
