I checked with the computer in college - an IBM 300GL, if anybody is
familiar with it.
The startx script gives the following error:
Unknown chipset ID 0x8904 rev 1
linear FB @ 0xf8000000
It seems that the chip_id is being autodetected, but the S3 server does not
know how to deal with this chipset.
