No way. Oracle and Free! Never. I just checked there site as well as RedHat site. 
Oracle 8i is out with a production version on RedHat
with special optimisation and RedHat has made that part of optimisation code as Open. 
But for Oracle 8i well surely we need licenses.

MySQL and Postgres are the 2 DBMS engines which are freely available on Linux. 
Postgres is free on all platforms. MySQL is free only
on Linux. For WinNT platforms a small fee is needed.
