Well can anyone tell me what are the lines to be added to httpd.conf to use
Perl & CGI. I'm having this problem for long time. I tried many things to
get over this. For some Perl programs when I call that pl file from the
browser I get a Netscape error. 'The document contains no data'
When I see the error_log, it says signal segmentation fault. I want to know
where is the real prpblem.
I guess from the error netscape gives, it must be that the Pel program is
not returning proper headers to Apache. But then I dunno why the error log
says Signal Segmentation Fault.
I tried using CGI function header. hardcoding the httpp header but all in
vain. The error still remains. Please reply as soon as possible coz my
prject is getting delayed coz of this.
Can anyone send send their httpd.conf file to me. I will compare yours with
mine.
Secondly, as from Lunteks I configured my Linux box as a dial-in server. I
have given 192.168.100.1 as the address of my system. Now when anyone dials
into my system & browses the web sites on Apache. He can see the index page
properly by entering the following url
http://192.168.100.1/index.htm
But when he enters username & password & submits the form what he sees in
the browser is contacting 127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/authen.pl. I have made the
changes in code so that it should not point to localhost.
