well , that's the base kernel image ( ramdisk )  in memory . yes its 34M ...
You can see it initializing when you installing suse ( loading ramdisk
33...K ... )
all the stuff in the /proc filesystem are just a mapping , that makes /proc
a pseudo filesystem
Also I have seen instances where the people have attempted to delete this
file as it takes too much space !!!!
