Man, you waited like six hours. Sometimes email gets stuck in routers
longer than that. There was no need to reply on the same day that the
article came in the newspaper because there is no hope of it being printed
before Monday anyway. You could have waited till Saturday evening.
In any case, if you were speaking on behalf of the entire ilug-bom, then
you should have had us check your letter before mailing it. If you were
doing so in your own capacity, then it is okay.
