I m new to the linux operating system. I m
facing small problem related to redhat 6.0 the details r below....
- I hav just recently installed redhat 6.0 on one of the
system which is part of Lan of around 175 systems or so. All the
systems are installed with windows nt 4.x workstation or server except one
on whcih I hav installed redhat. Now I want to use this system as a file
server, so i hav created users etc... & configured samba accordingly. In
smb.conf I hav shared the required directories for various users & set
the full permission for all of them. Now what happens is under the shared
directory, if any user, say user-A creates subdirectory then only the user-A
gets full permission to this directory but other users gets only read &
execute permissions even if I hav set full permissions for all on main /
parent directory.
Can some one guide me how to solve this
problem......
