ACM Seminar, Friday, April 28, 2000 - 6:30 p.m.

Title: Language Processing with Lex and Yacc

Speaker: Durgesh Rao (KBCS Division, NCST)

Venue: Lecture Theatre, NCST, Juhu

Abstract: We often need programs that can analyse structured or
semi-structured text. Typical applications would be command
interpreters, parsers, language translators and IE systems. Lex and
Yacc are a pair of utilities that can make this task easier and fun to do.
The intent of this seminar is to explore the basic concepts and working of
Lex and Yacc, with a case study of a mini Pascal to C converter.

** Open seminar. All are welcome. No fee, no registration. **
