Mount your floppies like this:
mount -t vfat /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy

Just A Bit more
edit the file "/etc/fstab" in the line of "fd0" if u have a 1.44MB floppy disk put fd0H1440,

and where u see ext2 delete it and put "auto"

now try to mount

"mount /mnt/floppy"

if u want to mount as a non-superuser read the Man pages.

Now Coca-Cola.
