Hi Akshay,
I am also using win95 till now, but i am thinking of switching to Linux
for all my activities. only if reasonable tools are available (of course
NS is available for linux)
web development is one of the activities which i wanted to switch. i had
raised that query for knowing about web development tools available on
Linux.
if i come across any good html editor for linux, i will keep you posted.
there are hundreds available for win, several must be written for linux
also.
thanks for mentioning dreamweaver for win, i shall try it. i have used
FPAGE which is excellent, and NS composer which just serves the purpose.
I did not have to type a single html tag in either. though fpage created
bulky code, which i had to snip. coffeeTime i didn't like at all.
please keep posting about these efforts of yours. i am just starting to
learn, hence any light you shed will illuminate.
the site you are developing is a personal page, or a commercial site or
a hobby site?
are you using cgi. I wonder why i have not heard python name that much
as i have heard PERL. which one would you recommend?
PERL is available on win, is python also available on win. i have to use
something that is available both on Linux and win.
