Well, anyone here tried software RAID?

We have tried on a server .. our ftp server and have a partition of
approx. 34 GB .. two SCSI HDDs merged together. Distros of Redhat,
incomplete FreeBSD { I am yet to try that! But no help available on
campus. All the BSD geeks have gone away! Rather, they got *converted* to
BSD after leaving ... from Linux! } plus all other stuff.

( Rohit, you listening? ;-)

RAID was easy to set because you get the option during installation. But
then never figured out how to set that in a running system if you one day
plan to add some hard disks. { The lazy bone that I am. } Anyone tried
that?

Who wants to remember that escape-x-alt-control-left shift-b puts you into
super-edit-debug-compile mode?

Emacs.)
