no visible mark on cd.

2024MB hard disk partition. Suse said it needed 1600MB.

it did instal 311 packages, so i guess, partition has to be correct. in
any case, what can i do in partitioning. it presented all independent
parts of hdd, i selected the spare on, it created 3 partitions on that.

how to re-format a linux partition when linux is not yet there. my other
partitions are win95 on fat16, extended fat16, and nt4 on ntfs. how do i
format in ext2.

i run installation 5 times. hanged at same place. next time i skipped
"network" option from contents menu. it did install hylafax in a jiffy,
but again hanged after 3 or 4 packages.

i am thinking of going for good old RH 6.3. what say?
