Sometime Today, Gajanan Bhat assembled some asciibets to say:
First of all your subject has to be more descriptive. help says nothing
and most people who judge a mail by the subject would just delete it.

What display card are you using? This is most likely a problem with the
display card not being compatible with your X Server. If you have a
SiS6215 or something similar, or a S3Trio 3D AGP, then these problems have
been documented already. Search the archives at http://www.ilug-bom.org/
and you'll find your answers.
