That class teaches you to write bad perl code.  I suggest you stay away
from it.  The first thing that you notice is that none of the perl
programs have the -w switch.  Second - The way it reads CGI variables is
in complete violation of what is mentioned in perlfaq9.  They read
directly from STDIN instead of using CGI.pm

perldoc CGI for information on writing CGI programs in Perl.

Oh yeah, in case you didn't know, Perl is not CGI and CGI is not Perl.
