I thought I'd confirm with seniors here before filing a new bug in Nautilius. I took a 8-sec avi format video in today's session by Mark S at IIT. I tried to check its size via right-click->Properties in File Browser. Result: The window closed & opened my home folder again.
Notes: The file was in my home folder. I moved it to a subdir & tried same action. The result was the same i.e. a new file browser opened again with my home folder.
