Some salient requirements are: Should be strong in Unix. Programming in Shell/Perl would be a big plus. Knowledge of PHP is desirable. Must have demonstrated understanding of large networks with multiple servers providing network services. Should have a good understanding of network security. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) is a must with English as the language of choice as the position involves Customer Service and support. Working knowledge of Spanish is a big plus but not a requirement. Willingness to work the Owl shift (8 PM to 4 AM). Should be able to train and manage trainees and freshers. This is a contract-to-hire position that will start within 4 weeks time. This is for a startup based in south Mumbai which provides development and support services on the LAMP platform. As we are growing right now, we need someone to be able to undertake managerial responsibilities too that will involve managing multiple projects.
