Is that limit imposed by the file system or CPIO? If you are implying that the FS is imposing the limit then you're mistaken: http://batleth.sapienti-sat.org/projects/FAQs/ext3-faq.html The limit is 4TB and your file is just 5.1GB. -- Dinesh A.
