umm...you'll be surprised to know that the graphics performance of Core 
Duo is not good as compared to the pentium-M lest the software is 
optimized for SSE3 instructions. Ofcourse everyone has their own needs 
AMD 64bit CPUs have more registers, more bandwidth, basically more of 
everything. But 64 bit doesn't necessarily mean that it supercedes the 
32bit performance infact the Core Duo squarely beats all _desktop_ 
AMD64 X2 processors except AMD64 4800+ X2. It comes very close and 
actually beats it in some tests but not all. More over it draws lesser 
power and runs cooler. For a mobile processor, it's pretty amazing I 
must say.

I dont mean to hurt anybodys feelings here but I am very firmly in the 
Intel camp and I am happy that finally they have put out a product 
which does justice to the engineers over at intel.
