Bleh. This is perfectly safe to set if you use strong passwords (and/or restrict ssh access to key based access only), and you are the only user on your system. I wouldn't recommend this on laptops, or any system to which multiple people have access. On a regular desktop, the benefits outweigh the risks (anyone who has access to your personal desktop already has the ability to do more damage than sudo will give anyway).
