be 100% compatible to their needs?

I agree with that. I guess as long as they can get their work done
(i.e. be productive ) they wont know the difference between windows
and linux. This one point which even Mark Shuttleworth brought up when
he'd adressed the lub in IIT. So what is stopping adoption is either
the fact that alternative applications are not available or people are
or aware that they are available.
