Explain/talk to them.
Buy them off.
Punish them.
If nothing else works, divide them.
In the caution rules list for new members, we could
put up a short note on how installing certain freeware
or IM signups could compromise the address book and
send spam to everyone including this list and result
in getting a `gpl'. Potential members could be advised
to use a seperate email id exclusively for this list
and no entry of the list email id in any other address
book.
