Yes, I have the same hardware configuration with me, just that I am on Debian GNU/Linux Sarge which works fine. The Intel website specifies that Mandriva offers the best support for this motherboard, but I doubht if it will be any better than what I get at present. They still recommend you to download the drivers and compile them. On Debian, it is easy to configure X. Just do a dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86, and select ATI from the Video Driver list, and you are all set. [ for XFree86 ] If using Xorg then type the corresponding command dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg. Give it a shot... I am sure it will work, Praveen.
