Its a HP Compaq v5000, Intel Centrino Duo, 1 gig RAM, pcmcia card
reader, WLAN, built in sound/video. Can any distro detect all of

No idea about laptops but the latest Kubuntu 6.06.01 is a live/install
CD so if you like it you install it. I don't have the CDs though.
