A client of mine was happily using Mandrake 10.1 on his system for 2
years. About 6 months ago the cable guy switched over to PPPoE using
raspppoe. So I had installed rp-pppoe for linux and everything was fine.
Now they have again made changes like no static or dynamic ip
assignment. The guy claims that he has only replaced a defective switch
but now the rp-pppoe is not able to detect any access concentrator.
Raspppoe works fine in windows and can establish a connection. The
customer has totally moved over to linux so is handicapped without any
internet connection. Please help with any suggestions.
