hello all. if I have to use ubuntu linux with a good command line talking desktop, I need emacspeak to run with festival. I tried installing deb packages of emacs and emacspeak. but they don't seam to work fine. can any one help me do it? since my net is too slow, apt-get is not going to help any ways and my linux connection to internet is not happening because the raspppoe protocol is not getting configured on my machine with 2 lan cards.
