Unbranded, unmarked laptops are available. Laptops with FreeDOS are perfectly available. Laptops with Linux preinstalled are now available. If you dont like Windoze running on your laptop / branded desktop you can say NO to the license agreement when you switch on your machine for the first time. Format the disk and ask for a refund from M$. Assembled hardware doesnt come preinstalled with any OS. You always have the choice of what gets loaded on your PC. You can ask your "assembler" to put Linux.
