Umm...even a local architecture would include a properly separated 
backend with maybe a plugin based frontend.

Can we think a bit smaller at the moment? One frontend. A RAD 
methodology or a prototyping model. Get the app out quick and fast. 
Dont worry about the smaller details. They can always be added later 
on. Incremental lifecycle anyone? :)
