Hmm... the point of jealousy would be in terms of it looking ``wayyyyy too
cool" AND being GPL through and through. Let's face it Apple rules when it
comes to building interfaces, Aqua(on Mac OS X) is one of the most crisp
and
elegant looking UI's out there, moreover they take the same care and
precision in making their widget sets !!! Pity they don't seem to have any
inclination to release that bit under GPL.
An interesting article on the same :

Guys, I had posted an idea some months back about having a graphical
desktop that has moving animations that imitate real life situations
like writing a letter on a letter pad, folding it and putting it in an
envelope, posting it in the letter box, delivery van picking it up,
etc....The idea is to help people who are scared or nervous about using
computers. If we can get animation/gaming development guys to develop
this desktop environment, we can beat any other 3D desktop especially
now when Vista is touting its new 'aero' interface. What say guys?
Regards,
Rony.
