Maybe Sony BMG should think of giving the contract of producing DRMed CDs/DVDs to LFY :P Getting back on topic... Rony, the only reason that Linux "hangs" is due to a driver / kernel bug or hardware failure. What was the hardware that you were using. Please post it.
