1. The speed upgrade is only for non-unlimited accounts which means 590NU users are out of it. 2. MTNL's DNS servers suck. Use OpenDNS or run your own DNS / Caching DNS. 3. Recently Bharti, Reliance, VSNL's fibres were damaged due to an earthquake near Taiwan. So that might be one of the reasons for irregular browsing speeds. -- Regards, Dinesh A.
