Come on now, lets be fair and give credit where due. I have been a user of vsnl(govt), then tata indicom vsnl then mtnl and now airtel too. MTNL and the old govt VSNL beat all services hands down. Excellent phone and Internet service. Prompt response. high reliability. With Tataindicom and the likes you end up talking to some dumbasses at call centers in other random cities who can only read from a script and give you a ticket number. With mtnl you can go to the exchange and request a quick connection and with 24 hours they install it. For any problem, they are with you within 6 hours.
