Never used wvdial but will learn now of course.
So basically I treat it just as a standard modem is that it?

I have used the Huawei EC321 data card on FC6.x86_64. Setting it up 
using wvdial was a breeze. If you want, I can provide you the wvdial 
settings that I used.
