Software placed in the public domain is very much like BSD-licensed
software
there is a fundamental difference - one is copyrighted and licensed,
the other is relinquishment of copyright, unlicensed and no-one owns
it. You guys are beginning to sound like prop software guys who keep
trumpeting that all foss is nothing but public domain.
