The person needs to be RHEL-4 certified / have strong fundamental understanding of various aspects of the core Linux system & its basic services. Work experience of 2 2.5 yrs is required Must have the flexibility to work in different day shifts ( 2 slots ) Knowledge of basic shell scripting for automating day to day tasks Knowledge of hosting stand-alone java applications on linux server & hosting web applications in tomcat / other web servers is an added advantage Self-learning is a must. Never-say-die spirit is a prerequisite. Good communication skills required for interacting with development team and end users to coordinate and to resolve issues.
