being an refugee from ubuntu, i searched for a way to manually add a new mirrior - couldnt find one. Then in manage-media, i clicked on 'add' and got a list of all the mirrors. Added a few and it was done
I have yet to try out multimedia. In short, Kubuntu is much easier to configure and setup compared to Mandriva. "And the first prize goes to ....Kubuntu". Yeeaay.
