I have the Fedora 7 i386 ISO available (fedora has a DVD iso only),
contact me off-list if one can come to goregaon along with something to
copy it on (i do not have access to a dvd-writer as of now). The iso
size is close to 3GB.

I'm busy downloading the F7 x86_64 DVD iso, so can carry it across to
the venue. maybe i can even show you all a test install on a lappy that
i carry with me. Anyways, i'm just waiting for my connection to get upgraded
to 1mbps (happening round the 11th of june, then i'll get my hands dirty
with
pungi and build my own *everything* 2-3 DVD install, a-la debian.

So far the experience is as expected (less than a few hours
post-install), no complaints.. most things appear to work except
democracy player (which i was looking forward to after the mozilla grant
story on slashdot).. some deprecated dbus_bindings module error (time
for a bug report). Anaconda recognized my other installs (fc5/fc6/xp)
and hasn't killed my cat or lost my data. The only other worry is
getting the perfect resolution, which has been a perennial problem with
*me*.

Hmmmm, what's with the resolutions there? i've been working for a while
at 4096x1563, no probs :P what card/monitor/lcd u using?
