I did that on purpose, since I too respect AST for his work. He's the
first person who comes to mind when one mentions Operating Systems.
That is the reason why I responded only to portions that I felt would
give me a bit more information, not defend credentials of a proven
Guru.

I didn't because I (and probably all of the computing world) knows
what AST means to OS research and development on the whole, not
because I wanted to nitpick.

Not at all. The microkernel architecture is superior in most respects
-- it's just not as fast as the monoliths yet.
