what he says in the talk is much more than the process of creating V3.
1) a democratic process for creating legislation
2) the cost of distributing content / code
3) the ethics of depriving society of knowledge so that some can 
benefit
Great analogies too - must read,particularly for those who think that 
closed software makes business sense. I have been bumping into these 
continuosly for the past week. I meet a couple of microserfs who were 
all worked up about a bank which specifies RH enterprise linux. They 
wanted to know how to get a copy without paying Rs.44k per site. When 
i said they could download the stuff, they said that RH would sue 
them. HA HA i loved that. Told them to use Debian.
