Job description: VoIP Support Specialist

Company Profile: Enterux is a fast growing VoIP PBX vendor that installs Asterisk PBXs. Our customers range from large/medium enterprises and government.

Skill Needed: Networks, Asterisk, Linux

Experience Needed
1-2 years working with Linux.
0-1 year working with Asterisk.
Installing and troubleshooting networks.
Installing and troubleshooting Asterisk PBX.
Installing and troubleshooting VoIP networks.
Working with telecom vendors, managers and end users.
Experience working with VoIP phones.
Experience and/or knowledge with the following: DHCP, FTP, SIP, TFTP, IAX, NTP, VLAN, G.711, G.729, GSM, DNS, SSH.
Basic knowledge of programming (BASH, Perl)
Knowledge of TDM technology such as ISDN (PRI), T1, POTS, Centrex, and etc.

Job Tasks
Main task will be Tier 1/2/3 Support for customers using our products.
Installing and troubleshooting networks.
Installing and troubleshooting Asterisk PBX.
Working with sales when they need a Sales Engineer.
Ability to work in a team.
Hours are usually M-S 9-5. Working hours can vary, depending on customer needs.
Proactive monitoring of our customer systems.
