I needed the Kubuntu alternate CD [ i read on one of the [K]Ubuntu forums that an alternate CD can be used to upgrade from a previous release (Feisty, in this case) ]. I have Feisty ( GNOME version ) installed and only wanted to upgrade to Gutsy *KDE version* ; keeping the original files and settings and installed programs. Not sure if it will work for me though! [ (GNOME to KDE shift) + upgrade ? ] Please get the alternate CD for Kubuntu if possible. I'll get along a Flash drive.
