Hello,
I'm using fetchmail+procmail+mutt with pop3 for my gmail accounts. I'm also
not deleting messages that are being downloaded from gmail. However, is
there any way to sync up my local image and the one on gmail? I mean, if I
read/delete a message on my local box, then the corresponding message
should also be read/deleted on gmail.
I know that imap is a better alternative for that; however, before I start
using imap, I have the following doubts:
1. can I d'load the mails permanently so that they may be accessible
offline too?
2. I think I can do the above if I use mutt directly with imap instead of
going through fetchmail, but then how do I filter messages (how do I use
procmail in this setup)
3. even if I use mutt directly, will mutt sync back with gmail?

I know that one can use thunderbird/kmail to do this kind of stuff. my
query is how does one do this using fetchmail+procmail+mutt?

Thanks...
