If your network is fine and windows share name, user name and password are correct, then the following command should mount the shared folder on Windows server running on (say) 10.1.1.1 to /mnt on your Linux system. mount -t cifs -o user=winuser,password=winpass //10.1.1.1/sharename /mnt Be root to execute this command.
