All, I have an old CD-ROM and a non-functional CD-Writer, which fails invariably and tends to freeze my system randomly.
Are there locations in Mumbai, which recycle this ? Or could it be put to some other good use (the motor for rotating the wheels of a robot car?) Similarly, I have a few CDs which cannot be used any longer. (few old Ubuntu CDs). How can they be recycled, if they can be at all. A few months ago, I did search for a few on justdial dot com and queried them over email (since they listed it). However, I haven't got any response from anyone, hence the query to the list.
