Right blame HCL for the lack of drivers. The driver issue we face is
simply because the open source drivers dont work well and the
proprietary NVidia ( now merged with AMD ) work like _ _ _ _.

Not at all. Compare the prices of Core2Duo CPUs and motherboards with
AMD. They are competitive.
