Jumping in looking at embedded... I did set up a camera server on Mini ITX board. The camera was sending live video on the local LAN. But there was nothing special, just loaded Flash Linux on a pen drive and booted ITX board from pen drive, the camera driver was installed, and a video server was installed. and it work out of box.
