I would be very scared if you were in flying in the
same plane as that of me ;). It generally is advised by the crew to
turn off electronic devices after the plane's doors are closed /
during take off / landing and communication devices are a strict no-no
throught out the flight. And even if it were allowed, it would
slightly difficult to mark way points from few thousand feet ;)
The question was based on the fact that, while flying a
device would have to switched off until the destination has been
reached. Anyway, thanks to you and JTD, I got the idea now.
