For power, my network device is PoE capable and also has a 12V/1A DC in. There are no power outlets near the device. Also, the ethernet switch does not have any PoE ports.
I am looking for an adapter, that sits in the closet alongside the ethernet switch, with input a) Jack for DC12V/1A in, b) RJ45 LAN in (from switch), and output A) RJ45 LAN out (ethernet+dc power).
