Hi, I remember there was some discussion going on here on FS bug in kernel 2.4.x. It was regarding root mount error where root block got corrupted. Somebody had reported that this bug exists in some of versions of kernel. If I remember the kernel versions were also specified. I searched the past archives of list but failed to find any such note. I had read the same on kernel.org too but it has disappeared from there too. So can anybody please tell me which kernel versions had the FS bug in kernel 2.4.x series.
Where do I find any such notes of serious kernel errors? I searched on yahoo but didnt give me expected results. Thank you. Amish.
