gotmail downloads hotmail pages using http and tries to parse the html, so everytime hotmail changes the page design, gotmail will stop working. HTTPMail uses WebDAV - the same thing that outlook Express uses. It will always work. I had trouble using it too, but apparently many people were able to use it at the same time, so it was some other problem.
